Covering 212 square miles of the South Cotswolds, Cirencester Foodbank helps to ensure no one in their community goes hungry. Working on the basis of referral and with support from the Trussell Trust, they provide three days’ of nutritional meals to those in need. As well as helping locals in crisis, the foodbank works to better understand the root causes of poverty, analysing and sharing data, and helping find solutions for achieving a hunger-free future.
The Symondson Foundation has committed to three years funding to employ a Family Engagement Worker, as a part of their mission to offer wrap-around support for those struggling with issues of poverty and the cost of living.
