Founded just a few years ago, their operations include a food bank, wellness programmes and social groups, a coffee shop, careers for young people programme, and multiple gardening sites in the area dedicated to ‘growing their own’. The centre is run by locals for locals, and is a shining example of how lived experience and local understanding informs how best to help serve the needs of a community.
